MATERIAL DESCRIPTIONS

Gold (10K, 14k, 18k, 24k): Gold, in its various levels of purity, is renowned for its rich luster and inherent value. The karat number signifies the gold content, with 24k being the purest form.

Gold purity scale in karats:

24 K = 99.9% Pure
22 K = 91.6% Pure
18 K = 75% Pure
14 K = 58.5% Pure
12K = 50% Pure
9 K = 37.5% Pure

14KT HGE & 18KT HGE (Heavy Gold Electroplate): These markings indicate a strong layer of gold electroplated onto a base metal, offering an affordable yet luxurious gold appearance.

Electroplating involves using electricity to cover the jewelry with a thin layer of precious metal, such as gold or silver. This process makes the jewelry look more beautiful, adding a shiny or matte finish that can also protect it from getting tarnished quickly. It's a clever way to make jewelry more affordable while still giving it that luxurious appearance of being made from a solid precious metal.

GF (Gold-Filled): Gold-filled jewelry is created by bonding a thick layer of gold to a base metal, usually brass, through a mechanical process involving heat and pressure. Unlike gold plating, the gold layer in gold-filled jewelry is significantly thicker, ensuring durability and resistance to wear over time. This process results in a piece that has the rich appearance and feel of solid gold jewelry but at a more accessible price point.

Plated: This general term refers to jewelry coated with a layer of metal, which could include gold, silver, or other metals, over a base metal to enhance appearance and resistance to tarnish.

925 Sterling Silver: Denotes silver of 92.5% purity, an alloy that offers durability and a beautiful sheen, perfect for both modern and traditional designs.

Platinum: This rare, precious metal is celebrated for its strength, hypoallergenic properties, and natural white luster, making it an ideal choice for showcasing gemstones.

Titanium and Tungsten: These metals are favored for their strength, lightweight, and resistance to scratching and tarnishing, suitable for contemporary jewelry designs.

Gemstones (Precious and Semi-Precious): Our gemstones are meticulously tested for authenticity and quality.

Precious gemstones: Include diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, which are considered rare and therefore more valuable.

Semi-precious gemstones are more abundant and include a wide variety of stones like amethyst, aquamarine, citrine, opal, and turquoise.

While precious gemstones often get more attention for their rarity and use in high-end jewelry, semi-precious stones are beloved for their beautiful colors and are widely used in all types of jewelry for their versatility and affordability.

Pearls: As organic gems, pearls offer a soft, refined elegance to our collection, available in a range of sizes and colors.
